Dan Riskin, CEO of Health Fidelity, on the use of big data


In this video interview recorded for PhysBizTech at HIMSS13, Dan Riskin, MD, co-founder and CEO of big data company Health Fidelity, explains that 80 percent of healthcare information remains unstructured and unused. Big data can be utilized to meet regulatory requirements, he said, but it has to be part of an overall strategy to improve care within a health system.

Riskin also addresses interoperability and analytics, and how they factor into care coordination and billing processes.
