Majority not in favor of ICD-10 delay

The ICD-10 delay is a much-discussed topic in healthcare right now. Healthcare Finance News asked its readers if they are in favor of an ICD-10 delay. The majority of respondents said that they are not.

Fifty-six percent of respondents said they have already begun the process of implementing ICD-10 and do not want to lose momentum.

Thirty-three percent are in favor of a delay, citing preparedness as a major concern.

Only 11 percent were not sure.

The date range of the survey was March 5, 2012 to March 12, 2012.
