The American College of Physicians (ACP) on April 2 announced a redesigned advocacy section of its website. The redesign makes it easier to view and find content about ACP's advocacy and public policy efforts, according to the organization.
The new advocacy landing page features a tabbed menu highlighting ACP’s positions on important public policy issue, legislative action center, state health policy resources, upcoming advocacy events and current policy papers.
ACP also developed a new, searchable online policy library that facilitates access to all ACP public policy, clinical, educational and ethical recommendations.
ACP's policy positions include the following topics:
- Affordable Care Act/Access to Care
- Medical Liability Reform
- Workforce Issues
- Medicare Reform
- Medicaid Reform
- Physician Payment/Delivery System reform
- Health Information Technology
- Federal Budget/Appropriations
