Eligible professionals (EPs) and eligible hospitals can participate in a call devoted to the Medicare and Medicaid EHR Incentive Programs on June 27 from 2:00 – 3: 00 p.m. ET. The call, presented by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC), will cover the use of certified EHR technology to meet meaningful use requirements.
Program topics will include the following:
- Overview of the EHR Incentive Programs
- Types of certification
- Which EHR products are certified
- Resources providers can access for additional help
- Questions and answers with CMS and ONC experts
The presentation for the call will be posted at least one day prior to the call. It will also be emailed to all registrants on the day of the call.
You must register for the call to receive the call-in information. Registration will close at 12 noon on June 27 or when available space has been filled.CMS and ONC note that this is the last year Medicare EPs can begin to participate to earn the full Medicare EHR incentive payments.
