Researcher seeks participants for concierge medicine survey

HIMSS and a researcher at George Mason University are collaborating on an academic study of concierge medical practices. Examples of such practices include retainer medicine, direct primary care and other types of fee-for-care preventative medicine.

The researcher, Divya Srinivasan, a PhD public policy student, is coordinating the field work on the subject and seeks participants to complete a 52-question survey.

Eligible participants would include:

  • Physicians that either own or partially own the concierge practices.
  • Office managers with 1+ years of experience at the practice (in lieu of the physician).
  • Any one physician at medium to large practices (greater than 10 physicians at the practice).

All responses will be anonymous and de-identified.

Participants will receive a small incentive (an Amazon gift card or a donation to the charity of your choice) in exchange for your time and willingness to participate via e-mail. Click here to access the survey form.

You may contact the researcher directly by email () if you prefer to answer questions through a phone or in-person interview or have any other questions.

This work is being supported by HIMSS HIS and State Affairs.
